Positions on the Court
Goal Attack:
The Goal attack wears a bib that says“GA” and is allowed in the attacking third, the centre third of the court and the shooting circle. A goal attacks job is to set up and score goals for their team.

The Goal Shooters only job is simply to score goals. A goal shooter wears a bib that says “GS” and is only allowed in their attacking third and the shooting circle.

The Wing Attack wears the bib “WA” and is the playmaker of a team. The wing attack is
allowed in the attacking third and the centre. However the wing attack is not allowed in the shooting circle.

Centre:
The Centre position is allowed to move around the whole court expect for the shooting circles. The
centre starts the game in the centre circle and helps the team out in both defence and attack. The people who play centre are usually very fast and small. A centre wears the bib with “C” on it.

Goal Defence:
The Goal Defence is allowed to move throughout the centre and defensive third and its shooting circle. Their job is to stop the opposition from getting a goal. They are like the patrol officer of the defensive third. A goal defence wears a bib with the letters “GD” on it.

The Wing Defence wears the bib “WA” when on the court. They are allowed in the centre and
defensive third; however they are restricted from entering the shooting circle. The wing defences job is to stop the opposing team from reaching their attacking third.

The Goal Keeper wears the bib “GK” and is the main defender of a team. They are only permitted in their teams defensive third and cannot leave this area. Their job is to restrict the other team from scoring goals and entering the shooting circle.
